Fonte Antica was born from the bond with our land, from the desire to create a place where you can relive the values of the past and the suggestions of ancient traditions. Involving you in the familiar atmosphere and in the slow rhythms of its daily life is the spirit that we want to convey to you.
—– THE BUILDING —–
The structure is a typical 18th century Umbrian manor house which over the years has undergone various modifications up to the current rectangular shape on three levels with various rural outbuildings.
Today completely renovated and adapted to the needs of the agritourism hospitality, it was conceived as the place to breathe a family atmosphere and, at the same time, sensations of extreme relaxation and well-being.
All the restoration works were carried out while keeping the original structure unchanged, recovering most of the materials and furniture, with the aim of leaving the charm of this place intact.
—– INSIDE —–
A single body on three floors encloses the common spaces and the 10 rooms. On the ground floor, where once there were stables and a cellar, today the reception, the sale of typical company products, a kitchen and a room equipped for small ceremonies, meetings, courses and tastings have been created.
In the mezzanine of the old barn, available to guests, there is a space with a pool table and a foosball table.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms designed to also accommodate disabled people, the restaurant, housed in the old stone barn, the kitchen and common rooms for reading and relaxing.
Upstairs, another 8 bedrooms converge on the large central hall. Some are very spacious and communicating, suitable for families with children.
